QUICKTIME MOVIE DEMO OF FASTCODER (3.5 MINUTES) This is the actual size of the software interface used to control the Capty FastCoder hardware MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 encoder distributed by LaCie. You may need to scroll down a bit to fit all of it on your monitor. In order to keep this Quicktime demo at a reasonable size, it is saved at rather low resolution, but be assured that the FastCoder software does have that "normal" Mac look to it. This demo encoding session was done on a G4/667 Powerbook. I forget to mention it in this demo, but if you have a 16:9 movie "squeezed" to 720x480, you can check the "Letterbox" option to produce 16:9 DVD's. I discuss that more on my main FastCoder page.
