For $15, the Immigrant Genealogical Society ( http://feefhs.org/igs/igs-hess.html) sent a photocopy of a page which included this info on my ancestor from the HETRINA:

They also sent me a several page translation of the HETRINA's preface, along with an explanation of what these various codes mean.

In addition to the soldier's last and first name, the photocopy shows the place of origin (in this case Bellings); code number for the town; rank (here's it MU for Musketeer); unit (here it's Hesse-Hanau Regiment of the Crown Prince); category of information (for instance "03" is induction date, "12" desertion date, "01" appointed to the unit rolls); date of entry of that information in the unit books (76FE is February 1776); archive source of code.
